Thanks to all the people who took the survey. Sadly, however, Ms. Young decided my topic of "Austin's style" was too broad to write a good feature story about. I'll find a way to somehow integrate all the survey data into my new feature story. :/ SO I now will be able to interview an actual stylist down on 6th street! c8
As for this weeks blog post, I'm here to encourage you all to fill up on avocados! Avocados, as it turns out, have many health benefits such as cancer prevention, heart disease prevention, better eye health, stroke prevention, better nutrient absorbtion, lowers cholesterol, regulates blood pressure, and the list goes on and on!
Studies show that One cup of avocado has about 23% of the Daily Value for folate, a nutrient important for heart health and is shown to significantly lower the icidence of heart disease.Avocado has a rich source of monounsaturated fatty acids including oleic acid, which has recently been shown to offer significant protection against breast cancer. It also is now considered a diet food due to it's newly found weight loss benefits.
